AFRICAN HEALTH

  •  In 2023 – 2025, the African Health and Social Development Organization is proud to launch a Sexual Health Campaign in collaboration with African community Organizations in Norway. The main aim of the campaign is to promote sexual health, the prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted Diseases; use of condoms together with early testing of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Sexual health is indeed part of a healthy body.   The main objectives of this campaign are to;
  • Create awareness and increase knowledge on sexual health
  • Increase peoples’ knowledge on safe sex and the use of contraceptive methods, and condoms for the prevention of unwanted\unintended pregnancies and STDs
  •   Encourage people to get tested early and regularly

Activities for children and adolescents

African Health & Social Development Orgnization organizes  social engagement activities outside the formal education system through sports and cultural participation among the children of immigrants. Participating in sport, fitness and cultural pursuits provides children and young people with opportunities for enjoyment and social interaction and may ultimately strengthen community cohesion. In addition, cultural participation outside school has been found to enhance engagement and academic progress within School. Sports activities have implications for ensuring the inclusion of immigrant children in out-of-school activities and for their integration more generally.
